Hi,

I think that iso RazDC4 is wrong. Its a pure RockyLinux without RazDC embbeded.

Do you can check?

I had the same thing and I booted off the device in Legacy (BIOS), not UEFI, and it launched into the RazDC4 Installation. But then the installation for Rocky wasn't accessible.

And you have downloaded from sourceforge? https://sourceforge.net/projects/razdc/

Are trying to put the ISO on a Thumb Drive using Rufus (or something else). It does not work. You must burn the ISO to a CD and boot UEFI Mode from the CD. Then you will get the install to work correctly.

That is correct, using a media converting tool to a use a different install format will overwrite the ISO installation config which has the KS flag for unattended setup.

Hi all,
I have a problem installing from ISO image in a VM
The error is:
An error occured during reading the kickstart file:
Disk "sda" given  in ignoredisk command does not exist

The installer may not be able to see your disk based on your VM config. RazDC is built on Rocky Linux 8 a derivative of RedHat8, so your VM hardware version should be 7. You should have a paravirtual iSCSI controller.

Thank you,
I understood the problem and in fact the installation continues, but with VMware Workstation Pro with the LAN configuration in bridge it does not acquire the IP address and therefore the installation is not completed.
Anyway thanks for the answer.
