Tested on ESX 7, vSphere Client version 7.0.0.10400
Configure Guest Compatibility to “ESXi 6.7 Update 2 and later (VM version 15)”
Set the Guest OS Family to “Linux”
Set OS version to “Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 (64-bit)”
Configure your VM hardware as needed. In my test environment I use the following:
CPU: 1 CPU(s)
Memory: 2GB
Hard disk: 16 GB
Network adapter: default (VMXNET3)
Confirm settings and save VM.
RazDC currently does not support UEFI
Edit the VM. Under VM Options, Change Boot Options “Firmware” option to “BIOS”.
Power on VM and complete the install using the standard Installation instructions.
